My Mommy

I honestly can’t get over how much of a change I have seen in Cole since we had the tubes put in his ears and he is on his acid reflux medicine. He has gone from cranky and mean to the sweetest sweetie around.  He gives kisses and hugs freely.  He always wants to cuddle.  And at night before bed his hugs are so passionate, I can hardly describe them.  Hug as tightly as possible with our left cheek pressed together.  Hug as tightly as possible with our right cheek pressed together.  Repeat over and over again.  XOXOXO. 

He is protective and knows what belongs to him.  For example, if Cody gives me a hug, Cole will yell, ‘My mama!’  If Cody continues to hug me, Cole will make a b-line for Cody totally prepared to intercept me from danger all the while yelling, ‘My mama!  My mama!’  I love it when 2 men fight over me.  :)

Cole is a chatterbox and he is talking all the time. He knows most of his colors, all of his animals and he make a whole host of animal sounds and sound effects.  Cole can say just about anything he wants to say and he can mimic whatever word you want him to.  Cole truly enjoys the power of communication.  For example, if he wants to be silly he says in a super deep, super scratchy voice, ‘I love you mama.’  Below are some pics of Cole being silly in a cowboy hat.  Cole was running around nakey and prancing saying, 'yeehaw!' 

If that wasn’t adorable enough Cole currently has several other adorable phrases.  Some of the cutest are, ‘Okay mommy. Sorry mama.  And be right back.’…… Cole can you come over here? 'Okay mommy. Okay mommy.'  If Cole drops a building block.  ‘Sorry mama.’ And if he wants to stall bedtime, ‘Just a minute.  Be right back.’
