2 Year Update
Cole is 2 years old. I thought I would take a minute to document Cole's developments up to date. Since his tubes were put in place his
vocabulary has exploded. His enunciation is lacking but for the most part he
can say: Mama, dada, Case, me, kitty, ee (baby), home, snack, on, off, up,
down, cold, hot, baba (bottle), dog, na-na, out, car, ka-chow, back pack, go, there he is, shhh, mow, hair, cold,
eyes, nose, hat, glasses, shoes, cow, bubbles, mine and there it is. And his favorite word is NO! This word is usually
accompanied with his little finger wagging back and forth. Close seconds are Mine and Go. Plus he is adding more words everyday. He knows where his eyes, ears, nose, teeth,
mouth, tummy, legs, and hands are located. He can roar like a dino, tiger and bear, meow, bark, make monkey noises, hiss like a snake
and make pretend car noises. He loves to
cook in his kitchen, play with toy cars and drive his choo choos along the
wooden train set. Tigers are his favorite animal. Cole is my creative child. He
can color with markers and crayons or play with play dough and be quite content
for an hour. He also loves books and enjoys being read to before bed. His favorite bedtime story is Goodnight moon.

He weighs 26 lbs and is almost as big as his brother. His
favorite food is chicken nuggets. Pretzels, rice, French fries and M&M come
in as close seconds. His favorite color is brown. His favorite movie is Cars, the original, and we watch it
at least 2 times a day. He is a
bruiser and not afraid to stand up for what he believes. But he will also give kisses when someone says, 'Ow.' Cole is keenly aware of which toys are 'his.' He is a collector at heart and most of the time he can be found carrying around a trick or treat pumpkin full of his favorite toys, animals, cars and collectables. I love the way Cole greets me. When I come home from work (or from leaving the room for that matter) he shouts, yells, jumps up and down and hollars over and over a joyful 'Mama! Mama!' His enthusiam is so contagious. He really knows how to make a person feel welcome. :) However if I had to pick just one favorite, I love that Cole is still a mama’s boy and loves, loves, LOVES to snuggle, snuggle snuggle with me. I
love him so very much and am one lucky mama to be blessed with this little
boy.
these big boys are SO handsome and sweet!
