Christmas Day 2013
Christmas day started off early. Case is an early riser. I prepped him the night before that he could not go downstairs until 7 am. He was in our room by 5:30 and handled his wait well. He watched tv and waited, waited, waited. Sweet little guy even asked if he could go to the bathroom twice because he wanted to sneak peaks and look over the balcony to see if Santa had come. I was surprised when our late sleeper woke up around 7 as well. Both boys waited at the top of the stairs so all the adults could prepare the paparizzi cameras. The duo descended down the stairs together. Santa left a scooter, electric race car set, wooden Melissa and Doug farm tractor and snail figures from Turbo. After everyone checked out Santa presents we dug into stockings, snacked on Christmas donuts and then opened presents. We cleared away the trash and the boys rode their scooter in circles around the house while we fixed Christmas lunch. Play time, food coma, fruit ninja, dessert gorge, heated air hockey matches and family time. Not sure anyone got out of pj's all day and it was great. Happy Birthday Jesus. Thank you for giving people everywhere a reason to come together to celebrate you.
