Fall Foliage

How do you describe the fall leaves in Colorado?  They are beyond my literary ability to describe and unless you have seen them in person it's hard to understand their beauty.  Leaves turn colors and fall to the ground everywhere you go, but the leaves in Colorado are different.  They…almost glow.  When the skies are gray, the yellows shine so bright against the dark clouds you would swear they are lit up and plugged in somewhere.  It's hard to keep your eyes on the road and off the trees when they look so luminescent and you want to check and make sure they are real.  The contrast between gray and bright is beautiful but the yellows, oranges and reds are equally stunning in the sun as well.  For the past 7 years I have tried to snap just one shot that captures the glowing brightness and vividness the leaves possess with no success.  Their beauty can not be captured (at least by me) but I continue to try.
