Snow Angle

We have been in a severe winter weather advisory watch for the past 2 days with estimated snow fall being anywhere from 10-15 inches, some places in Colorado dropping as much as 20".  Of course Cody left the day the storm began. Typically I don't worry about weather, but this storm had me apprehensive.  How was I supposed to shovel 15" of snow by myself?  Friday, day 1 of the storm, I made sure the last thing I did before the day became night was shovel the driveway in an attempt to keep ahead of the accumulation.  I honestly thought about getting up and shoveling at midnight to keep ahead of the game but decided to wait until morning.  I told myself no matter what the driveway looked like in the morning I would just shovel the snow one shovel at a time until it was done.  Around 7am I heard a hum outside.  I jumped up and looked out my window.  I caught him!  My snow angle was outside snow blowing my driveway!  What do I do?  Run outside and thank him?  Offer to pay him?  I didn't know what to do, so I lurked. Peeking through my window I watched him finish my driveway, clear another neighbors drive way and then finally put away his snow blower in HIS garage. I caught you!  Once I had confirmed his identity I sprung into action.  I made a dozen and a half m&m cookies, wrapped them in a snowflake bandana, heated up some home made hot chocolate and carried everything across the street to say thank you.  As much as I appreciated the gesture, I appreciated the lesson and conversation it produced between me and the boys.  When the boys saw the driveway had been cleared Cole said 'Maybe God did it.' I said, 'Yes, God did do it. He came into that mans heart and used him to do something good.' Thank you to the Galaska family and their kindness in the cold.
