You're Not Going To Like It

Last night our elf cut out our family picture in the shape of a heart from our christmas card. When Case came upstairs while I got ready to report on the elf status he wasn't excited, chatty and happy like normal. Here's the conversation.

Me: Case did you find the elf?
Case: Yes, but you're not going to like what he did?
Me: What did he do? (remember, I already know what the elf did)
Case: He cut up your pictures.
Me: Out of my scrapbook!
Case: No. You just need to see for yourself.
Cole joins the conversation: Mom! I thought our was a good elf, but he is so naughty! I can't believe he ruined your pictures! I'm so sorry.

Apparently with all my scrapbooking and consistent photo taking I have instilled the value of photos in my children. Both boys are genuinely upset by our elf antics. Hopefully the elf will be on better behavior tonight.
