Happy 5th Birthday Case!

What do you do when you are turning 5 and the day is yours and yours alone? You go swimming, hiking, catch some grasshoppers and eat smores by the fire.  Per Case’s request we went back to Homestead Ranch for a morning hike where he proudly caught grasshoppers and found a dead snake. Everyone played on the playground.  Adults and kids alike engaged in a competitive slide contest.  First one down wins.  Weeeeee!
 




















Next up, swimming at Villa.  The boys and I have truly enjoyed our new membership to Villa.  The new gym is all about the boys and all about the kids pool.  The indoor and outdoor pools are amazing.  Personal favorites for the boys are any of the many water slides, heated indoor and outdoor water, zero entry access, fountains and a lazy river.  My favorite part is seeing Case go from afraid to get any part of his head wet and afraid to go down the water slides to diving for dive sticks and sliding head first down the water slides.





We capped off the evening with a steak dinner on the back porch, presents, sprinkle cake and smores for dessert.  Happy birthday Case!  August 26th is one of my favorite dates of all time.  Your presence in my life is something to truly celebrate.  I love you!
