Winter Fun

Today was one of our first cold winter days in Colorado. A high of 32 degree and windy. What does a family do when they are landlocked for the day?  We had fun!  I managed to squeeze the bounce house in the basement and the boys bounced the morning and afternoon away.

During bounce house breaks we conducted a science experiment and made the coolest ooze ever.  1 cup cornstarch + 1 cup water + food coloring = awesome.  This mystery stuff is a solid and a liquid all in one.  Pick up a handful and squeeze it, its a solid.  Stop squeezing and it will drip through your fingers as a liquid.  Saaay Whaaaa?  Crazy fun stuff.

After science time, Cole put together his puzzle of the world.  Cole is an incredible puzzler.  Can you believe he put this puzzle together all by himself….3 times.  Winter we are ready for you.
