North Pole

I bit the bullet this summer and bought a season pass to The North Pole. The park is such a wonderful place for young kids. With over 2 dozen family friendly rides, 3 story candy cane slide, aerial tram, miniature train, ski lift, ferris wheel and antique carousel the kids have ample fun just waiting for them.  What's your passion?  Do you want to ride a motorcycle, boat, race car, roller coaster, bug, airplane, space ship, or reindeer?  They have rides that cover it all.

We have been to Santa's Workshop (Aka: North Pole) a couple times before, but I think this summer is our season.  Both the boys are past napping which means the kids can stay and play longer before reaching meltdown status.  Plus everyone is tall enough to ride all the rides by themselves.  Although kids aren't the only ones allowed to have fun.  Adults can enjoy most of the rides along with the kids.  Cole made the biggest turnaround this trip and rode EVERY single ride!  Of course Santa was at the park.  We saw Santa as he went to lunch.  He stopped to chit chat with us and all the other people along the way.  Later we stopped at Santa's house for a personal visit, which we had never done before and said 'Hi'.  Santa was soooo nice. He really lingered, wasn't rushed and talked to the boys individually.

5 hours later, we have 2 cranky kids and 2 tired parents.  Having fun is hard work!  I figured this will be something super fun to do throughout the summer months and am looking forward to coming back again soon.
