Half Over?!

Summer is half over and I felt like we haven't gotten to do anything summery yet. 3 VBS's, 2 weeks of company visiting, 1 surgery and the time is gone. We have managed to go skating and bowling once, camping and played at the lake. Cody has been gone the whole month and when he is home we have been working on the backyard like crazy people. Mowing, installing rock, building pergola, painting the playhouse, sanding and painting chairs, laying pavers and bricks. I'm exhausted. The fourth of July will hopefully be a weekend of much needed relaxation. With the backyard almost done maybe we will be able to finally enjoy, sit in the shade, have friends and family over, eat lots of food and make some memories. Look out summer fun and relaxation, we are a month behind, but we are coming for ya!
