Summer Is Over

Summer is over:
the grass was so green

the sun was so bright

life seemed like a dream

with no worries in sight

tan skin and tank tops

laughter and bliss 

each moment that passes

more fun than the next

friends and cookouts

memories and laughs

good times to remember

I hope the memories will last

the grass will soon fade

the leaves will begin to fall

school replaces summer 

oh we will miss it all! 

School starts on Wednesday but until then we will play in the sun and eat ice cream for lunch. Because, ice cream is not only delicious, but fun as well.  Especially when you're making ice cream in the ice cream ball! The direction manual tells you to roll the ball for 20 minutes, but the boys prefer to bounce the ball on the trampoline. I like their way best. School is about to start. See you later summer! Can't wait to see you again next year.
