Southern Maid

This morning we treated ourselves to a dozen donuts.  Forget Daylight Donuts or Dunkin Donuts, in our small town of Falcon, Colorado we have a Southern Maid Donut shop.  Elvis did the only commercial of his life for ANY product on November 6th, 1954 for Southern Maid Donuts (and everyone knows Elvis had a taste for delicious fattening foods).  Most people love the basics: glazed classic chocolate or maple long john, but could you resist a Butterfingers donut with chocolate icing and Butterfingers dust on top?  Or an Oreo donut with vanilla frosting and Oreo crumbs.  Peanut butter icing donut.  Or Peanut butter with chocolate drizzle (how indulgent is that?)!  The treats don't end there.  They have a smores donut with chocolate icing, crushed graham crackers and marshmallow drizzle. Coconut toppings, sprinkles galore, they even have a gummie bear donut.   No one should be surprised to read, that only 2 donuts are still left to see sunset.  YUM!
