Case is officially a 1st grader. Today he graduated Kindergarten. I am so proud. He has learned over 150 words, is an expert sounder outer and can read small books. He has learned the school routine and knows the ropes around Banning Lewis Ranch. Lunch, check. Recess, check. Bathroom breaks, check. Uniforms, check. Homework routine, check. Mrs. Gellerman is the straightforward, no nonsence woman who braved this classroom of hooligans and made his year great. A week before graduation Case received a special certificate at an awards ceremony for outstanding artist of Kindergarten last quarter. There were only 7 awards given (one for each specials class and one for each major subject) out of all 4 kindergarten classes so this was a special achievement. Everyone was a little surprised he received the art award because…..well, art just isn't his thing. But maybe the teacher sees a budding Picasso somewhere in there. He has had a great year! We are ready for summer break and then excited to tackle 1st grade.
Last day!

Graduation is over and summer has begun.
Jumping for joy! Hooray for Summer!
