Rain, Rain, Go Away

We are sinking.  In the last few months the plumbing under our kitchen sink came loose and we had to cut out and replace all the wood under neath and fix the sink.  We had to buy a new washer and dryer because after 6 month of laying down towels to catch the leak every time we washed a load, we concluded there was no fixing the problem, and the machines had to be replaced.  Then our basement flooded with the torrential rains that have been washing over Colorado.  Finally our shower leaked and pooled water in the ceiling above our dining room.  Now we have the dining room table in our front room and a huge hole cut in the ceiling.  We are up to our eyeballs in water.  I feel like we are treading water everywhere and life jackets need to be mandatory for in the house in case we float away.  All this water has drained our accounts and filled us with frustration.  I know where there is rain, there is also a rainbow as evidenced by this pretty little scene we saw driving home one day last week.  However I am still waiting for the rainbow to shine over our house.  Rain, rain go away.
