Day 2-Take 2
Day 2. Cole was dressed and ready to go to school. He walked into the school and his classroom like he owned the place. He sat at the same table and started playing with the same toys, all was good until the teacher told all the students to to their assigned seats. Thennnnn, all hell broke loose. Cole was shaken and unable to recover. He didn't like the change, wanted to stay where he was seated. He started crying and couldn't be consoled. The teacher literally had to pull him off me and said, 'I have him. Go!' I left the classroom with my little one sobbing. As I waited outside the door to make sure he calmed down, there was another little one in the hallway crying and clinging to their mother. Grrrreat. Once I finally left the school I watched a mother pull up to the school in a van. After she parked, a child literally, jumped out of the car and started running away! The mother chased him down and caught him. She got on the phone and and school officials came out to help her bring him into the school. Really?! What the heck did they do to all the children on the first day of school?!?!?! I began to question whether or not my child should be in school.
