Color Show

Today Cody and I drove up to Cripple Creek for lunch and a play.  On the way we were lucky enough to see the Apsen’s changing.  The month of September is the ideal time to witness this scenic drive, but you have to time it right.  In some places the color can last only about a week and if we get a strong wind all the foliage is gone with the breeze.  It's difficult to predict when exactly the leaves will turn in any given location.  However when the time is right and the sun hits the leaves the trees can look almost like they are glowing.  The leaves are beautiful and the sight is nothing short of spectacular.
