Day at the Zoo

Fall is here and the weather is wonderful. We took advantage of our zoo passes, the clear skies and perfect weather this afternoon and were not disappointed.  We have been to the zoo quite a bit the past few years but never have I seen so many of the animals out, active and easily viewable.  The grizzly bears were literally dancing with each other in the water next to the observation window.  The otters gave us a great aquatic show.  The wolves were chasing each other all around their habitat.  We spotted part of the elusive leopard.  We watched a porcupine climb to the top of a tree (who knew!)  And all the cougars were feeling frisky.  It was a great day for spying animals. I am thankful have passes to such great family entertainment that the boys love.
