And Poof, The Magic Is Gone

Our beautiful magical family Saturday afternoon was followed by a reality check, aka, Sunday 2 am puking session.  Case woke up with a stomach bug and it was bad news for every part of his body.  Starting your first load of laundry at 3 am is never a good way to begin the morning.  One experience, I repeat one of our experiences (we had several) was while the poor little guy was running to the bathroom to throw up.  Of course he didn’t make it to the potty and ended up projectile puking all over the floor, wall, door, etc.  The puking and running happened simultaneously and Case was running so fast when this happened he slipped and fell in a puddle of puke. 

And poof, the magic of family weekend is gone and real life has set in.  Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.
