Fall Leaves
Viewing the changing of the Aspens is a tradition in Colorado. Colorado's peak fall foliage is usually from mid-September to mid-October. You have to time things just right, because leaves can only last a week before they fall and can vary by season. Last weekend we took a chance and struck out in an attempt to strike Colorado's aspen gold and find some brilliant yellow hidden in the mountains. The boys love riding through the mountains because with every twist and turn the throw their hands up in the air and yell, Weeeee! Beautiful spots were a tad scarce this year but we found a few pretty spots on our scenic drive. Hats off to Colorado's beauty.
