I am convinced no other place in the world can hold a candle to Oklahoma sunsets. Although I miss Oklahoma’s vibrant colors and stunning views I have grown to love the softer beauty of Pikes Peak. I look forward to seeing The Peak each day. What will the mountain look like on my drive home today? Will it be covered in fresh white snow, surrounded by misty clouds or back dropped by blue skies? The mountain is a thing of beauty, a peaceful scene and a reassuing constant. It's different from Oklahoma’s spectacular sunsets and beautiful flat fields but it I have grown to love the Mountain in my back yard and would miss it dearly if we ever left this state.
