Happy Easter from the Gray family! Cole has declared Easter his favorite holiday because the Easter bunny give presents AND candy! The Easter bunny delivered a board game, bracelet maker, coloring books, cars, animal figures, candy, jump ropes and paints. The Easter bunny even came up with some new hiding spots for eggs this year and maximized spaces high and low to amp up the challenge. After Case gorged himself on candy he said, 'This is the life. Eating candy, watching tv and relaxing!" I guess the Easter baskets, 80 egg hunt and candy breakfast hit the spot this morning. We had Dave over for a ham lunch after church and the boys played quietly most of the afternoon.
But the highlight of the day which made this Easter the best Easter ever was that Cody and Case decided to be baptized during our Easter service this morning. The preacher said, don't walk out of this building dry and two of the three boys jumped in the water. The boys rode home wet and and cold but I couldn't have been more happy. In fact I blubbered and boo hoo'd for at least 45 minutes. This Easter leaves us with a day to remember and a story to tell. I hope both of my boys use this baptism as a stepping stone to develop bigger and greater things with Christ in their lives.
