Sledding Memory Take 1

Saturday it was 2 degrees in Colorado but after being cooped up in the house for the past 4 days while the wind chill rose to -17 the boys were begging to go outside and sled. Here was my dilemma. Do I dig out all the snow clothes, go through the circus of getting them dressed for 5 minutes in the snow before they want to come back inside again? Or do I listen to them whine for the rest of the afternoon? I caved. I got everyone dressed in winter socks, snow pants and bibs, snow jackets, hats and hoods. I was working on gloves, when I kid you not, Cole told me he had 'poopy in his pants.' SERIOUSLY?! I strip him down, change his diaper and dress him again. I finish everyone off with gloves and we start the long journey on foot to the hill directly behind our backyard fence. We took a picture to commemorate the moment. Everyone was excited to go down the hill. We slid down and then....Cole decided he wanted to go home. One slide and he was done. I made Cole stand outside in the cold and cry while Case went down the hill a dozen times.  Then it was my turn to make Case cry because we had to pack up early and go home.  After all the clothes were put away and the puddles of melted snow were cleaned up it was my turn feel like crying.  Mission: make memories accomplished.  Next time I will be more specific on what kind of memories I want to make.
