Everyday Conversations

I just love listening to the boys and their little conversations.  This afternoon, Case and Cole were playing in the living room.  They were dividing up toys.  I don’t know why their conversation struck me a humorous today, because they talk like this all the time, but for some reason today it was particularly amusing.  Here was their conversation.

Case:  I get the black one and you get the green one.
Cole: Oh, I love green.
Case:  I know, that’s why I gave it to you.
Cole:  Oh, okay, thanks.
Case:  Wait a minute.  I have to go potty.
Cole: Okay.
Case: (yelling from the bathroom) Don’t touch my stuff!
Cole: (yelling back) Okay.
Case: (yelling from the bathroom) Don’t let anything move.
Cole: (yelling back) Okay.
Case:  (yelling from the bathroom) If anything starts to move just let me know.
Cole: (yelling back) Okay.
Case: (yelling from the bathroom) I’m almost done.  Are you touching my stuff?
Cole: (yelling back) No!  Case, are you going poop or pee?
Case: (yelling from the bathroom) Just pee, no poop.
Cole: Oh, okay.

Case:  (reemerging from the bathroom) Okay, I’m ready to play.
